About Me!
Nyla Sabrine Eltahir is an actor/singer/dancer born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. She grew up in the sun, spending as much time singing and dancing in her driveway as possible. Nyla loves storytelling, in whatever form it comes in. She feels lucky to help audiences to experience humanity onstage, and to collaborate with her fellow artists to learn more about the world around them, and what connects people.
Currently:
Nyla just finished a summer in Pagosa Springs, Colorado with Thingamajig Theater Company at Pagosa Center for the Arts. Performing as Rachel in Escape to Margaritaville, Little Eva in Beautiful, and as a Silly Girl/ Understudying Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
Yoga
Yoga has been an important part of my personal practice and my growth as a performer and human being for years. I knew that I wanted to become a yoga instructor and share this beautiful practice with more people, especially performers. In the summer of 2022 I traveled to Vida Asana School of Yoga in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica to earn my 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification. I love yoga and getting to share its magic with as many people as I can.
